How can citizens be engaged with the green transition?

25/06/2024

In the framework of the Green Living Areas Kick-off Meeting held in Turin, on 11 April 2024, we had the opportunity to participate in the Session: How can citizens be engaged with the green transition at the local level?.

In the Session, we explained our LOGREENER Project, and other two projects, INFIRE and NUDGES, were presented. The three projects from the Green Living Areas Community look for solutions to achieve the engagement of the citizens in all the stages of the energy transition process.

Moreover, some experiences with citizen involvement and advice for the new projects were presented, between them, the LOCAL4GREEN project that created a tool to design and implement local green fiscal policies for promoting the use of renewable energy sources, tool that will be upscaled and integrated in the LOGREENER toolkit for green energy transition planning.

We continue working for the green transition!
