On 22nd July 2025, the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and MUSOL Foundation have organized the 1st training session for Spanish local authorities and key stakeholders to promote the energy transition at local level, presenting the toolkit created by LOGREENER Project to plan and deploy local sustainable energy plans.
Taking into account the problems that many municipalities have to advance through the energy transition are common: how to start, what tools to apply and how to access financing, the training session was especially designed with these contents for policy makers and development planners, and also municipal technical staff on sustainability, energy planning and project management.
The training session was organized online to facilitate the widest possible attendance, in order to help municipalities and local stakeholders in the energy planning process, including:
- Practical tools to design and implement local green energy plans, like the LOGREENER toolkit.
- Good practices in European municipalities.
- Opportunities for sustainable financing, with mention to specific lines for areas affected by the DANA floods.
